About the vacancy

We are looking to recruit an experienced Trials Officer to be part of our friendly and dedicated team based in Stratton Audley, Oxon to carry out trials in a range of different crops.

The successful candidate would be required to:

  • Locate and mark out suitable trial sites both in the local area and in a wider geographical area by liaising with farmers, growers and agronomists.

  • Apply treatments accurately with trial plot sprayers and spreaders.

  • Assess trials according to the requirements of each protocol.

  • Input data into ARM software and to write reports on the trials undertaken.

  • To assist with harvesting of trials with trial plot combines and other harvesting equipment.

  • To assist with trial plot drilling.

The successful candidate needs to be flexible at busy times of the year and be able to understand and undertake the requirements of a range of protocols, accurately and punctually.

In return we offer a competitive salary to the successful candidate, twenty-five days paid holiday per annum and above the minimum employer contribution to a pension scheme. The position would come with a suitable company vehicle for which sensible private mileage is paid.
